ActionAid works in more than 35 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean to listen to, learn from and work in partnership with over 9 million poor people to help them realise their potential and secure their basic rights of food, water, education and the chance to earn a living.

ActionAid believes that by fighting poverty together - working with local communities, national governments and international organisations - we can bring about real and lasting change to the lives of poor people.

Nic Armitage has been involved in ActionAid’s child sponsorship programme for the last 20 years and more recently raised funding for the ‘shepherd school’ project in Northern Ghana.

Having visited the Ghanaian programme & seen first hand the difference ActionAid is making, Nic has committed enzyme’s resources to the charity.

ActionAid's track record in achieving sustainable change through working in partnership with poor people is second to none. enzyme also exists to deliver sustainable change but primarily in a 'business' context. This makes for a logical and mutually beneficial partnership between the two organisations.

Our clients can directly affect the capability of ActionAid through enzyme’s commitment to spend one day working for ActionAid at no cost for every five days we bill clients.
